Medical Representative
The Medical Representative is responsible for promoting pharmaceutical or healthcare products to medical professionals and ensuring strong product awareness and prescription support within assigned territories. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), executing territory sales strategies, and delivering accurate product information. The position also requires effective territory planning, data-driven reporting, and adherence to ethical sales practices in the medical and healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and detail pharmaceutical or healthcare products to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare practitioners within assigned territory
- Execute territory sales plans to achieve targets and business objectives
- Conduct regular visits to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities
- Provide accurate and updated product information, including benefits, usage, and safety profiles
- Analyze territory data to identify opportunities and optimize call frequency and coverage
- Prioritize calls effectively based on HCP potential and prescription behavior
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and competitor activities
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4-year course preferably in medical field
- Must have a good and persuasive communication skills
- Must have at least 2 years experience as Medical Representative
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, territory planning, call prioritization, and HCP profiling
